Your documents go into a private file the attorney reviews directly; they are never public.
Checkout runs through Stripe; the firm never sees or stores your card. Your engagement with Hochman Law PC forms when payment is confirmed, and stays subject to attorney conflict and eligibility review - if the attorney can't ethically take your matter for any reason, you get a full credit toward any other service, never a partial one. This is the part that isn't automated, on purpose. Daniel Hochman, Esq. personally reviews your facts against your documents, verifies every statute the letter cites against current New York law, computes the amounts - statutory damages, interest, fee-shifting where the law provides it - and signs on firm letterhead. His name and bar license go on your letter; nothing mails until he has reviewed it.
Your letter mails by USPS Certified Mail, so there's a dated, trackable record the other side received a specific demand - the record that follows them into small claims court if they ignore it. The tracking number appears in your client portal, and you get a PDF copy of the signed letter for your records.
Enter your order number and email at the client portal - no account or password needed. You'll see the live timeline: order received, attorney review, mailed with tracking, and your response window (most responses arrive within 14 days of mailing; 30 for debt-collector matters). When the window closes, the portal shows your exact options and exact flat prices.
If the other side responds, forward it - attorney review of their first response (within 90 days of mailing) plus a next-step memo is included free. If they stay silent, your delivered, ignored certified letter becomes Exhibit A, and your flat-fee options - a Final Notice letter ($349), the Small Claims Filing Kit ($499), or the full "Should I Sue?" assessment ($499) - are shown in the portal before you pay a cent.
